Cultivation
Also known as: sog
Growing many small plants flipped to flower early, harvesting one main cola each for fast, high-density yields.
Sea of Green (SOG) is the opposite philosophy to SCROG: instead of training a few plants large, you grow many small plants close together and flip them to flower early, harvesting a single main cola from each. SOG shortens the veg period and turns crops over faster, making it popular with commercial and perpetual growers. It requires more plants but minimizes the time each one occupies the grow space.
