Genetics & Breeding
A cannabis type known for taller plants and uplifting, cerebral effects. Often labelled the 'daytime' type.
Sativa refers to cannabis varieties traditionally associated with tall plants, narrow leaves, and longer flowering times. The effects are typically described as energetic, cerebral, and creative. As with indica, the modern view is that the terpene and cannabinoid profile matters more than the indica/sativa label. Pure sativas can stretch dramatically in flower and take 11+ weeks to finish, which makes them better suited to long-season outdoor grows or experienced indoor growers.
