Cultivation
Also known as: germinate, popping seeds
The process of sprouting a cannabis seed — the taproot emerges, beginning the plant's life. Usually takes 1–5 days.
Germination is the first step of growing: coaxing a viable seed to crack open and push out its taproot. Common methods include the paper-towel method, planting directly in moist soil, or soaking in water. Ideal conditions are warm (22–25°C), dark, and consistently moist but not wet. Most quality seeds germinate within 1–5 days. Verified seed banks back germination with a guarantee, replacing seeds that fail under proper conditions.
