EC (Electrical Conductivity) and PPM (Parts Per Million) both measure the concentration of dissolved nutrients in your feed water. Tracking EC/PPM lets growers feed precisely — strong enough to fuel growth but not so strong it causes nutrient burn. Cannabis nutrient needs rise from seedling to peak flower then taper during flush. Autoflowers in particular are nutrient-sensitive and prefer a lighter feed than heavy-feeding photoperiods.
