Genetics & Breeding

Regular Seeds

Naturally bred seeds that produce roughly 50% male and 50% female plants. Used mainly by breeders.

Regular seeds come from a standard male-female cross and produce an approximately even split of male and female plants. Growers seeking flower must identify and remove the males before they pollinate the females. While less convenient than feminized seeds, regular seeds are preferred by breeders because they provide the male plants needed to create new crosses and because some growers believe they offer the most stable, unstressed genetics for cloning and pheno-hunting.
